Its called football over here and only americans call it that because they think, there football is better and even though our football has been around a lot longer has has more right to be called football..I mean the whole point of football is to use your feet hence the name I dont get why american football is called 'foot'ball when mostly its hands...

Actually, that is incorrect. Americans adopted "soccer " from England because associated football was already established there. It was also easier to say. I don't see how there is a competition between American football and European "football".
