I think the gaming edition already comes with component cables.

If I where you, I would go with an Elgato Game capture HD instead.

Why?
- Its smaller and more handy.
- It use HDMI instead of components.
- It has the same if not better quality than the HDPVR from Hauppauge.
- Easier software(Also, it works for both MAC and PC).
- Not that big price difference(50 bucks or something).

I would get the elgato its the best there is and like 40 quid more.

I've had a PVR. I prefer to use an HDMI capture card. This is the one that I purchased.

I use a roxio game capture it is perfect for starting out. Once I get more views I am going to upgrade to pvr.
