This is all over the news right now here in AZ. Guy set his own house on fire and gets found guilty of arson. As you can see in the video, he discreetly slips a pill into his mouth, two different times and collapses a few minutes later.
Something a Nazi would do on a holocaust trial lol this guy must be fked up he was a millionaire so why throw it all away?
He was going bankrupt, that was why he burnt down his house. He couldn't keep up with the payments. If he had nothing now, what do you think he was going to have after 16 years behind bars?
I can't believe they showed this video on the news. They wouldn't show someone hanging or shooting themselves. It's really just disrespectful to the family of the diseased.
That sounded like a horrible way to die I would have preferred to get shot in the back of the head. Although if I expected to get a jain sentence I would have just gone on a killing spree If I have to get jail time I might as well make it worth it.

Because it would be sooo worth it if you got the chance to take innocent lives. You're hardcore, man.

Compared to other sentences, 16 years is not a long time. However, think about where you were 16 years ago? It is an extremely long time to be cooped up in a cell.

What I don't get his who is the defense if it was his own house he burnt down..
It was alleged he did it for the insurance money. The defense would likely argue it was accidental. Of course there is much left out, we do not know the whole story.
