Tough decision; it seems I've seen enough anime to last a lifetime. But there are a few series that have earned my recognition for their excellent demonstration of character development, thought-provoking storytelling, influential and emotionally evocative scenes, and memorable setting. those few include:
-Bleach (without the terribly drab and annoying filler arcs and episodes)
-Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood
-Naruto/Shippuden (Ignoring the terrible story-pacing and filler episodes)
-Cowboy Bebop (No explanation needed, one of the most masterful and stylish displays of character development in Anime)
-Rurouni Kenshin: Truth & Betrayal (Simply beautiful, and one of the most insightful and touching animated works to date)
Will end my list there for now. If I listed all of the other memorable Animes I've seen, it would defeat the purpose of this being a list of my favorites.
Could anyone point me in the right place to watch Anime? If so what one's should I watch?
I strongly recommend Animefreak.tv; it contains a bewildering library of some of the best Animes to ever grace television. (In their entirety, too.) And be sure to watch the English Subbed versions over the English Dubbed options. What's the difference? I'd compare it to listening to an unemotional, monotone reader reciting a Shakespeare play; the voice acting alone creates a vastly different experience. On top of that, the English Dubbed versions are often
very poorly done. *cough* Bleach *cough*
