I do <

Acoustic guitar is the best way to start out so that's good. Just start out with some simple songs without chords such as "simple man" etc.. The first month of learning guitar is very frustrating but once you get the hang of it your fingers will begin to loosen up and develop calluses. After you get comfortable with it, look up chords and try those out.
