No. I have a charging station that can hold two batteries at a time. I always have two fully charged batteries, when the one I'm using dies out, I swap it with one in the charger. Also Microsoft sell packs containing two re-chargeable batteries for like 20-30$, it's an investment.
With that being said, I think the Ps3 lasts longer. I haven't charged my Ps3 conrtroller since I got it back in October. I only watch movies on it tho...
