PS3, if battery is low, you can plug it in and play as it charges. Even if you get the charging dock for 360, you still have to wait for the battery to charge before you play again.

360 does have a plug and play charging kit...

To OP

Honestly both my 360 and Ps3 control seem to have about the same lifespan... Depending. If a game has alot of vibrating reactions the 360 controller dies faster. I also hate that I can not turn the auto shut off feature off on my 360 controller.

But in order to charge the other battery pack you would need it in a controller to charge correct? That's pretty much the same as having another ps3 controller charging while you play.

Not to mention not everyone has more than one rechargeable pack because they cost a bomb.

I'd say from straight out 1 charge against 1 charge. Ps3 wins it. Of course both controllers can be recharged. I have both consoles. I had ps3 first, but when I went to xbox the batteries were a pain. Lol because ps3 was always free and rechargeble.

No. I have a charging station that can hold two batteries at a time. I always have two fully charged batteries, when the one I'm using dies out, I swap it with one in the charger. Also Microsoft sell packs containing two re-chargeable batteries for like 20-30$, it's an investment. Winky Winky

With that being said, I think the Ps3 lasts longer. I haven't charged my Ps3 conrtroller since I got it back in October. I only watch movies on it tho...
