Yes, more AC:JO news is here! Well, kind of. This is like a few weeks old but no one has posted it here, so I guess I will.

In this video, a few more new things are announced that we've never heard of before. I'd also like to point out that there is no longer a town gate. Instead, Nintendo brought back the good old train station that everyone used to love in the original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. And across the train tracks is where the mall is located. Here are the highlights from the video and my thoughts about them:

• As the player, you will make the village as you please. My thoughts: I'm not quite too sure what this means...Does it mean that you can put where you want the river in your town and stuff or does it just mean that you can customize it with flowers, benches, lampposts, etc...?

• You will be appointed as mayor of the village. My thoughts: This used to be a rumor but not anymore! But what will happen to Tortimer? Did he like die or something? As mayor, I wonder what you can do...

• As mayor you will carry out various public activities. My thoughts: This sounds awesome...but what could the activities possibly be? Adding benches and lampposts all over the place?

• Everyone in the village is interactable and will continue to be the soul of the village. My thoughts: That's good. Same old same old stuff right here. Except City Folk's ability of interacting with other villagers and whatnot were kind of poor. Let's hope it's really good this time...and BRING BACK PICTURES FROM WILD WORLD PLEASE!

• There will be new types of villagers and old ones returning. My thoughts: Okay, I have seen some of the new types of villagers and I don't really like how some of them look. I hope they add more of those cuter types of animals like Stitches who is just absolutely adorable. Also, if you look at 1:21 in the video, you'll see that Nintendo has added in a new species. One more thing...I really hope Nintendo brings back some of the older villagers from the Gamecube version like Ace or Scoot who were 2 of the many other villagers who never appeared in Wild World.

• Characters will have more rich personalities. My thoughts: Does this mean that there will be more than the original 6 personalities? (i.e. Lazy, Jock, Cranky, Normal, Peppy, Snooty) Sounds pretty exciting!

• Across the village line is the mall. My thoughts: This sounds pretty cool. What will the mall contain though? Maybe Kicks' shoe store will be there along with a few other new stores.

• Ranging from shop to shop are familiar tools. My thoughts: So no new tools I guess? Maybe, maybe not...and what's up with 2:00? Looks like Katrina learned a few new tricks to pull up her sleeve while she was gone. Notice that at 2:07 you'll see that you can still display town flags. Also, the good old Porter is back! This game is going to be like the original but a TON better!

• You can go back and forth between friends' towns. My thoughts: Nothing new here. All I want is to have a mic chat during Wi-Fi sessions or something similar to the Wii Speak that I can use for better communication.

• Houses will appear via streetpass and more will appear as more are passed. My thoughts: Sounds good to me...Although I don't really get streetpass often, since I normally don't walk around in public with my 3DS in my pocket or anything like that.

• You may tour their homes. My thoughts: It's a nice feature! But then again, I barely get streetpass!

• The new work shop has been created to significatly increase decorating. My thoughts: Great new feature. Can't wait to get my hands on one of those Wii Fit pads @ 2:46!

• Not only can you customize the inside of your house, but also the entire house to your liking. My thoughts: I really like this idea but there is one problem. What will happen when you expand your house? Is there even a loan to pay off for your house since you're now the mayor?

• But in the use of our own items, it is up to us to demonstrate the individuality of our own room. My thoughts: Not much to say here. :|

• Animal Crossing is expected to be released this fall (in japan). My thoughts: This is great, but America still hasn't had their official release date yet. Europe's release is in early 2013...maybe the US will be some where in between those two dates. I'm hoping it will be released before the end of 2012.
