Post: Recommend me a Ps3 gaming headset!
07-18-2012, 09:52 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Looking for a new headset that I could used to "sound whore" in call of duty, not willing to spend too much at all - this is the main problem :L Quick question: Is it possible to buy any usb gaming headset which is meant for PC but can be used on a PS due to the usb port? I'm really looking a good value-for-money headset.
Open to any suggestions
Thanks in advance Smile

You really do get what you pay for, if you want a good quality headset, I'd suggest saving up a decent chuck of change than buying one. But as far as my recommendation goes, I have You must login or register to view this content., and I love them, but their $250. But they have different audio presets, which works out great for the different map environments, wireless, dual channel bluetooth. Only thing I didn't like at first was all the buttons on the ear cuffs, but you get used to it once you figure out where everything is.

Do a barrel roll!
I recommend the Tritton Ax-180's, they wont break as easily as turtle beaches, and they are more comfortable and just as good as turtle beaches in my opinion , hopefully my advice helps!

I agree. I purchased a cheap Sony BT headset...volume too low to communicate with someone while playing...then I got the TB P11...and never looked back. Save up and get the best you can get.

Keep in mind wireless vs wired. I have Tritton 720s and I wouldn't recommend them for sound whoring. I love em, don't get me wrong but I also use them for other games too.

**Newest 2012 model 720s don't hook up to your comp only ps3/360. If you are on 360 they support 7.1 Dolby, Ps3 doesn't output that, so that feature is useless if you are on ps3. The previous model pre 2012 support pc but are only on 5.1 Dolby. Also newest model only allows one headset to be plugged in while the pre 2012 allow two.

Just a little review on them after having them for about 10 months now.
