I believe guns are amazing devices as they save lives everyday. I strongly believe that guns shouldn't ever become illegal, as there are millions of people who own guns and take care of them responsibly. Occasionally we have bad people that do bad things; especially with the Colorado shootings that happened on 20/4/12 but I do not believe others should have to lose their rights because of some thing some psychopath did. Guns do not have a mind of their own, if you told a gun to kill someone/thing it obviously wouldn't do it, its people that are bad; not the guns. I believe that guns are great tools, for protection, defense, and many other things. I hope that guns aren't ever illegal, as then you're defenseless and just a "bitch" per say. I could get all political on you guys, but thats not what my intentions are in this thread. So saying that, what do you guys think.\

Mind if I ask you where you live?

I've always wanted a Steyr AUG and and Galil AR but alas I live in a country were only the army and police are in control of firearms, can't say I like it but it guarantees safety for people. I'm not saying guns should be banned though but if you live in a country where a psycho can get hold of them fairly easily then you're just going to have to accept that if you want to watch the Dark Knight or something you might get shot one day if you're unlucky.

I know they are in the UK, but think about it Gizmo.. How many freedoms do you have there? It;s all governmental control in the UK

Id love to get some guns but where i live at its pointless for me to get some cause the kind i want are no fun here in NY. First off fully suto guns are illegal here, throws the idea of me having a mac10 or uzi out the window. And while i could get an AK (my favorite gun ever) it wouldnt be any fun not only because of the semi auto version but also, apparently in NY you cant have any assault rifle with a clip that can hold more than 10 bullets. Not to mention i think besides those restrictions the laws are espically fussy about AKs in NY state,have to have been in the state before a certain date...not that i see how that matters, if i wanna kill someone what difference does it make to them if i use an old ass AK or go to the store and buy a brand new M4? I mean i wouldnt mind getting some bad ass pistol but their not my favorite..
