Post: My cousin broken into at gunpoint.

It wasn't too long ago when this happened, about a week or 2 ago. My cousin cooked food for her family and some friends, and after they got done eating and the friends went home leaving just her, her boyfriend, and her almost 1 year old baby at the house. She just got done washing dishes about to put her baby to sleep when there was a knock at the door. My cousins boyfriend went to the door where a 17 year old girl stood. She asked him to come out on the porch and when he did two guys came up one holding a gun to his head. As they came in they were yelling at my cousin to get on the ground. She laid down covering her baby with her body and screaming at them "Take whatever you want just don't hurt my baby." the guy replied "I don't give a fuck about your baby, and I bet on my sons life that you will all die tonight.". Then he pushed my cousins boyfriend and hit him on his head with the butt of the gun. He was knocked unconscious. The two men then went through the house looking for things to steal while leaving the gun with the girl. Not to long after they started looking they told the girl to get her baby, so the girl was trying to get the baby, but something caught the girls attention and as she looked away my cousins boyfriend woke up and tackled the girl down the hall fighting for the gun. When that happened my cousin ran out the back door and up the street with the baby screaming for help. During the struggle the girl was shoot three times in the stomach while the two guys she came with ran out the front door leaving her for death. My cousins boyfriend then ran to check on my cousin and the baby. Then came back to the girl (the one that was at the door for the ambush, and the girl that was trying to get the baby) and stayed with her telling her everything was going to be alright until the ambulance arrived. The girl died that night in the hospital. I am thankful that my family wasn't seriously injured.
Later the next day my cousin checked her voice mail, and the people that came that night called before they came and they accidently left a voice mail without realizing it. They talked about how they were going to kill them, and the plans and everything. They were close in a house where they could see my cousins, they were watching them the whole time waiting for the right time to come. The two guys who were involved haven't been caught yet. But they are being charged with that girls death as far as I know.
Later the next day my cousin checked her voice mail, and the people that came that night called before they came and they accidently left a voice mail without realizing it. They talked about how they were going to kill them, and the plans and everything. They were close in a house where they could see my cousins, they were watching them the whole time waiting for the right time to come. The two guys who were involved haven't been caught yet. Let me guess, this happened in some shit hole of a place? I mean most people that live in mobile homes that i know of dont live in the best places.

America is in the top 10 its 4th...behind columbia and south africa and thailand, also the number is not relevant per populations its per-capita meaning averaged to population/gun crime...Also it is 25% of illegal guns end up illegal because of being stolen..And its not just poor people who commit gun crime you idiot, that guy who shot those people in the theatre in the US he was not poor and I just use him as a recent sample, not the only guy. Also China has a population of over 1.3 billion and they are one of the lowest countries for gun crime same with India 1.2 billion and not as high as America not even close and India has nearly a 38% below poverty rate where as its what 14 in america last time I seen it which I believe was april, unless you have became a third world country since then...

First of all, wiki is not a valid source. Also the population is very relevant because the US is the melting pot, this brings a lot of problems. And that guy who killed the people in the theater was not wealthy, he was in college who took a bank loan. And that's pretty ass that you called me an idiot, no need to be a douche.

I'm being a douche..Yeah and saying gun crime 'is for poor ass people" yeah ok also the only thing I got on wiki was india and chinas populations. Yeah and taking out a bank load means you're poor, poor him going to medical school, life must have been tough. There are plenty of people who take out loans and become poor and don't go kill people..

Gun crime is a, "for poor ass people." Why do people steal? Because they don't have. I come from a primarily well off town, there's no crime here and no one from here commits crime. Why because were well off. Now driving down the parkway for like 20 minutes we end up in Newark, a lot of crime there. Why you might ask? Because of the distribution of wealth there. And he took out a loan directly to buy those guns, I don't even know if he had loans for college, obviously he was crazy.

OK and being crazy or poor doesn't count for gun crime, but yeah India is alot poorer but have less gun crime, I really do not get what you are arguing about poor being the cause of gun crime. There is a big difference between killing/gun crime and stealing because you are poor, you cannot even compare the two.
