Have you tried to get the demo from the WoW website?

its a good game

I played it since release (2004) until I stopped a few months ago. I used to sit there for hours grinding for gold and getting rich so I can buy my epic mount/pve raid gear.

The new Expansion totally killed it though in my opinion and I finally gave up, canceling my Account/Subscription.

It's expensive, paying for Expansions and a monthly fee. But if you enjoy RPing games, and making friends then I guess it is for you. Mind you, I got hooked on for years and people have complained saying it has 'ruined their social life' because the game is so addicting.
