Today I was on Facebook. I have someone added that goes to my school. He is a homosexual and he dresses like a girl. I always thought he was a weirdo for doing that and I would make fun of him when he wasn't around.

Today, he posted a few statuses on Facebook stating his life, his story, things about his parents and how society treats him.

I decided to send him a message because I noticed how hard his life really is. His mom died and his dad lives in another Country. He has to go through so much and I really respect that. I don't care about his sexuality. I care about his approach to what people say or think about him. He doesn't let that bring him down and I aspire to have that mind set when things are at their lowest for me.

I sent him this message: I used to think weirdly of you but after reading a few of your statuses, you are honestly one of the strongest people I have ever met. You are an inspiration. More people should aspire to be like you. I have so much respect for you.

He replied: Wow! that was really heartwarming.Thank you so much, David. This made me smile

Pretty much, it made me feel better about myself and really brightened my day. I thought I should share that with you guys =D

Same thing with a kid with my school, everyone makes fun of him, but he doesnt give a fuck

That is cool for you man, to admit to him how you thought he was weird, but to now think of him as a strong guy.

I think that you did a great thing to bring up his spirit and now he can stay strong and get back on track. I'll say a prayer for him

Thats nice what you did. I believe were all equal no matter sex,race,fat or skinny. As long as your chill your cool with me even though i dont really hang around gay people......

Btw: he really dress"s up like a woman O_O ummm ok ive never heard a guy do that before but i wont judge him.

please show the guy some respect

he's still gonna get bullied cause hes a homo. but atleast he lost a hater . that should make his life a bit easier.
