Hi, I don't like you
Not sure how I can go about wording this so that it actually makes sense but here we go. While I think USC is the most talented team in CFB this year so the one spot is deserved, they won't beat an Alabama or LSU head-to-head. They no doubt have the speed and better QB to hang with either team, they just won't match up physicality wise with the top squad from the SEC.

And one last thing I have to say on these rankings. WHO THE FUCK GAVE MICHIGAN A FIRST PLACE VOTE? Come on now, I'll be surprised if they don't go back to being Ohio State's whipping boy this year already. Then again, maybe Michigan can get it going for one year, but that's about all they will have. Urb will have the Buckeyes back on the throne of the Big 10 in year 2.

Penn State will not be on this list in a long, long while. Sanduskified!

Disagree.

While at first I thought that as well, but it doesn't appear to be the case. O'Brien knows what he is doing and must be a god damn miracle worker, as long as he stays throughout the 4 year bowl ban and scholarship loss Penn State will be fine. Even with the sanctions, he is currently working with a top 15 recruit class last I seen (albeit was a little bit ago and will drop pretty far because of the lack of scholarships.) Even with the shit storm that is Penn State he is recruiting well. Was sold on this guy the minute he managed to recruit the top pocket passer away from likes of Alabama and other top schools.

They'll have a rough 4 years but it won't be long after the sanctions are lifted for PSU to be ranked again.

@kmanthecaveman
Well in Florida States case it is earned. Top 5 recruiting classes since Fisher took over for Bowden. There is reason for optimism for Florida State, don't follow Michigan much but I know they sure as hell shouldn't be getting a first place vote. Let's actually put together a few solid seasons after being in the shitter for a few years before we start throwing out first place votes. Oh well, its the preseason polls won't take long for a shake up.
