Recently Sony Computer Entertainment of Liverpool was shut down. After about 30 years of service the WipeOot team was shut down officially over FaceBook. Why you ask? Sony told press in a interview that they need to makes changes and remain viable in an "increasingly competitive marketplace", we also do know this is effective immediately.

For those who care about the staff there, we aren't sure how they will be affected in this closure, but Sony states they will try to relocate all of there employees at Sony Liverpool. Now before Sony Liverpool was shut down they were allegedly working on a "dramatically different" WipeOut and Splinter Cell-style game for the ps4.

Now all that just sounds like a a staff member at Leverpool may have leaked out some info on these new ps4 games and screwed the entire firm or just another one of Sony's plans to make more money, since they're dipping low on profits and dues.

Well let's get right into the meat and potatos. Let's talk about what little information we have about these two Ps4 games that are being "developed."

First off we have another WipeOut title, that accourding to EuroGamer is 'dramatically different." A lot of know and a lot of us love WipeOut, WipeOut has been apart of Sony for a very long time and they always deliver an awesome Sci-Fi racer. This new WipeOut title however had been reportedly been being worked on for the 12-18 months. Then they were shut down. Sony, you probably just dropped the ball and screwed us out of a new WipeOut, thank you.

Now onto to this Splinter Cell-style action game, we have a lot more info on this game then we should, but here it is.

The game supposedly puts you in the life of a gangster-style title before it gradually morphs into a sorta Assassin's Creed style game. The game was reportedly to have used a motion capture system much like that of L.A. Noire.

Well guys I wish I had more, but that's it. So what does everyone think? A new styled Wipeout and a Gangster Ezio? Sounds pretty crazy, but still good to hear.
