The singer had this to say yesterday afternoon on Twitter: "just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy." While the tweet has since been deleted, Simpsons executive producer Al Jean confirmed the news to EW.com.

Regarding the vocal appearance, Jean explained, "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him," adding, "Draw your own conclusions... It's just a cameo."

Bieber is scheduled to appear in the Season 24 episode titled "The Fabulous Faker Boy," which will air in 2013. The Simpsons will return September 30 on FOX. Previously announced guest voices for Season 24 include Zooey Deschanel, Steve Carell and Patton Oswalt.
