Post: Life forms on other planets

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Will we ever find different life forms? If they are more advanced than us they would of found us by now. Unless they have courtesy and don't wont to invade our planetary privacy. If we just barge onto some high tech planet, THEY WILL MURK OUR FUCKIN PLANET!!! But who knows... :???:

if i well remember from a documentary:
the possible combinations of a finite number of elements are a finite number.
in an infinite space, there there is "space" for infinite combinations.
thus each combination is repeated infinite times.
conclusion: in a far location in the space (not in the universe) there exist AT LEAST one person exactly equal to each of us...
if this holds... well.. extraterrestrial people is the last of my worries.

anyway...
another food for thought...
what's an "alien"? somebody born outside the earth?
then a baby that in 2100(maybe) will born on mars will be an extraterrestrial? even if his parents are human?
alien is something that does not share with us a "common ancestor" like the first bacteria created millions of years ago? well...
as this ancestor was born in a specific way, then another ancestor may have been with a different chemical composition? is that an alien?

the reality is: the are among us... X-D

Space in the universe isn't infinite. And finite times finite does not equal infinite

The universe is forever expanding so therefore is an infinite amount of space. Do you think that eventually the farthest planets in the universe will just hit a magical wall?

It is continuously expanding, meaning that it is a finite that will approach infinity, but always remain finite.

But if it is continuously expanding than there is an infinite amount of space. Finite implys that the universe does not expanding. I guess that one could say that the universe is infinitely expanding (I don't know how quickly the universe expands) but for a second/minute/hour/year/etc. the universe has a finite amount of space.

Fair enough. Regardless, there is a finite amount of energy and matter in the universe though.

If any life is out there, they certainly wouldnt want to come to earth to know we worship a god which has no scientific evidence of being real....Im just a mysterious gangster.

By the laws of probability it'd be literally impossible for there to be no other life forms, and remember not everything has to be a humanoid or even sentient, a microscopic germ could eradicate all life on Earth as it's alien and we're not evolved taking that into account, so sleep well;p

Edit; lawl, someone used that exact phrase before me...
