(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU.

This was a debate I made when I was still at school, and I was thinking to myself 'Surely the Internet must be affecting the Newspaper businesses, even though there are those people who still read Newspapers, and those who look at news online.'

My opinion is that Newspaper businesses do create websites to try to keep the trend, though with the Internet becoming more popular and up-to-date with news and information, this would make Newspapers obselete in the future and this would also cut back the amount of trees being cut down to make paper for Newspapers, thereby helping the environment at the same time. I prefer to read news online than in a Newspaper.

What would your opinion be and which would you prefer, Newspapers or Online News? :confused:

Ah, I wake up around 6 am and watch T.V news for an hour and normally fall asleep but I got an alarm to wake me up Smile I don't really see the news online or buy newspapers.

My opinion is News is best online and on T.V

The internet is definitely having a huge impact on the press and I think it will soon overtake the press. To combat this, the newspapers are doing now is to allow readers to subscribe to their 'e-newspaper'.

But still i prefer newspaper than online... alot of people can't afford internet or even a computer (or just they don't know how to use technology), but newspaper always cheap and keeps the business going :p

Oh hell yeah! you can look at the news page by page online and where i'm from, people be selling newspapers at 4 way stops. Almost everything is done by computers now and its going to eventually take over the world. Smgdh!!

Of course it is. Everything you can read in the paper is on the Internet now. Why would you pay to get a daily paper, when you can simply go to their website and look at it there?

Some people prefer reading a newspaper. I think there guna slowly die out though....who knows, maybe the bigger newspapers Like "The New York Times" will make a future app where you got to pay for it?

Shiver do you lift?
News papers have about 5 pages worth of good news, the rest are either advertisements, Or shitty news that they make up. I can go onto the BBC find all the latest headlines, For free, Except internet bill and leckie.

However my dad still buys The Sun and goes on internet to find news, So i dunno.
