There have been periodic requests to do announcements that explain what we have been doing recently and what may be coming up soon.
We will try and make a monthly update for review and community interaction.
Although there is nothing huge on the horizon, especially in light of the several new things added to the site recently, we are working on some plans to get ahead of the BO2 release, more on that on the next update.
As far as recent things, most of you know we added the Sectional Moderator role back to the staff.
We allowed applications for the first time in a few years and we received over 137 new applications.
Thank you to all of those that took the time and interest to submit an application. It is nice to know that so many would be interested in being a part of the NGU Mod team.
Although I had thought that including the community in the actual selection process through a voting thread, I was quickly made aware that the community is not willing or able to do that (Live and Learn) :p
I thought I would take a moment to announce the new sectionals for those that are not aware of our choices. They are now viewable in the forum staff listing but here are their profile links.

I will be working on a thread about some of the changes we have had on the site in the last 3 months and try and keep you all up to date on whats happening around the place.

The only truth I see here is that you are a total asshole.
He was an admin on this site for 3 years and the truth he is stepped down after being confronted by Outsider for future activity commitments.
It was certainly not for behavior like yours, nor will you ever contribute as much to this site, regardless of how long before you are banned..

Sad to see two old timers go, especially Carling. I know I didn't exactly get along with him but he's been here for so long and it's going to be weird not seeing his name in red again. I'm sure their places will be filled with someone who is very qualified though :y:
