There have been periodic requests to do announcements that explain what we have been doing recently and what may be coming up soon.
We will try and make a monthly update for review and community interaction.
Although there is nothing huge on the horizon, especially in light of the several new things added to the site recently, we are working on some plans to get ahead of the BO2 release, more on that on the next update.
As far as recent things, most of you know we added the Sectional Moderator role back to the staff.
We allowed applications for the first time in a few years and we received over 137 new applications.
Thank you to all of those that took the time and interest to submit an application. It is nice to know that so many would be interested in being a part of the NGU Mod team.
Although I had thought that including the community in the actual selection process through a voting thread, I was quickly made aware that the community is not willing or able to do that (Live and Learn) :p
I thought I would take a moment to announce the new sectionals for those that are not aware of our choices. They are now viewable in the forum staff listing but here are their profile links.

I would also like to congratulate ALL of the new Sectionals one last time, and I will miss you NP Carling26 and Sub Zero. Thank you for being such dedicated members to the site, and if it wasn't for you two, I don't think NGU would be where it is today. Thanks again.
