Well, my rap crew that I'm in isn't killing hip hop like the other rappers are

tupac, biggie, eazy e, and grandmaster flash were icons if you like to hip hop. Now it's just gay faggots wearing skinnies and not really dissing anybody. It's the record companies that ruin music, why do you think theirs not any more songs like 'fuck the police' around? Record companies pick what artist rap about, 'rappers' don't have as much freedom now as they did before. The only people who can rap about anything are underground rappers, and maybe nas and lube fiasco thats about it.

Everything will change in time but I do agree a majority of rap is crap and doesn't even have storyline or a good one. It's like rappers are just trying to see who can come up with the hottest punchlines.

I have to admit 2 chainz can be funny but lyrically he is not good. You guys need to listen to my favorite rapper Don trip. Don trip so underated hes one of the realest rappers alive he spits the truth.
