New memebers don't even know what the staff colors are so I don't see a problem...

I have also noticed that most of the people that are posting complaining about bold are former staff.... Who have bold.

Bold is the only thing Former Staff have left now, so of corse we want it gone, but I've seen Elite members who think no bold for Elite is a good thing as well.

Don't try to pin the complaing on just that, because that's total bullshit, and you're just using Former Staff as a escape goat to keep your unnecessary bold.


You say new members don't even know staff colors, well y'all not having bold will help them to learn. That's the point in that statement that they don't know who is staff and who isn't.

Also, not all Former Staff are bold. Former staff should've been given lifetime Elite when it was implemented, but that didn't happen either.

Elites don't need bold, their name is a different color, that's standout enough.

I say keep bold and the colors, I mean, gray vs black, maroon vs red, and pink vs purple arent too hard to distinguish.

Theres always the userbar to look at.

Maybe we could give former staff italics and let elite keep bold.

It was hard to tell bold from regular before anyways.

As stated we will try and keep you updated on things here, so here is this weeks.

We upgraded the server this week and it caused an issue for the site because the CPU we wanted was not in Stock, We were down for 2 days doing a back up so we could run on our old CPU.

The new server has many benefits, including a lot of extra ram, disc space, and CPU cycles.
This will enable us to offer some added features for you all, which we are working on now.
As far a general site speed improvements, those will happen when the new CPU we ordered comes in.
Till then we may have similar lag issues we've had in the past, But it will be much better soon and there will not be any down time when it comes in and is hooked up.

We had a big list internally of things to fix this month.

We fixed Forum Help section , where the perms were all screwed up and many could not post or view. You guys are a major help in that section, answering peoples questions, as well as new members not being able to even ask for help.

CLM has taken over as Vbookie supervisor and has added Hou as a US Vbookie.
There will be many more events posted now, especially as we get into NFL season and the MLB playoffs :y:

We had http bug that was an issue with pages loading, that has been repaired.

The DOB issue for horny Elite members has been fixed, and stop PM'ing me that you were born in 1907

Xploder license keys bugs have been repaired and working fine now.

The SB detach glitch has been removed, we had too many banned members coming into the SB with no posts to create problems ( gonna miss some of you guys :p )


Have a couple more things to add tonight to this one, but wanted to get this out and keep you all updated.

I would like some feedback from everyone on the Elite Bold User Name option.
Do you feel it creates too much confusion in the SB on who is staff?
Do we just get rid of Grey, Purple, and Red colors to avoid staff confusion?
Or is it not really a problem at all?
This is not a question of Elite vs others, They paid extra and deserve their perks.
This is just a question on whether that one issue is creating confusion for members, especially newer ones..

That is the exact problem. You are elite so of course you want bold when its causing more harm then good.
