(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, I just realised I need a laptop for school.

I've been looking at a few and found out about Ultrabooks. They're quite cheap on Amazon so I think that's what I'm gonna go for :p

Does anyone have an Ultrabook? Are they good for surfing, writing documents etc..?

Mods can move this thread, wasn't sure where to post it :confused:

Any help will be greatly appreciated Smile

I use a Macbook Pro, I have one for home and one for school. I love both of them and use them both about every day, but if I were to get a PC it might just be an Ultrabook. Although I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 15.3" for school. When you get into the 17" and up range the portability just goes through the floor it's like a portable desktop. Both of my Macbook Pros are 13" and I wouldn't trade for a 15" if I got the chance.

This is all my opinion, I have never even laid hands on a Ultrabook other than at Best Buy. But they look pretty cool. Although I would get a Macbook Air over an Ultrabook not because I'm an Apple Fanboy but simply because I like the Operating System more, I have always thought that it's better to have a better Operating System over hardware because if you can't use it, it gets a virus etc. then the speed does you no good.

Yeah, well my school will not let you have a lot of things on your computer if it is on their campus so, things like uTorrent anything pirated, any music program that is not legal. Things like that plus they make you install Parallel Desktops and Windows 7 which kills Ram, storage etc.

I just didn't like the shit they didn't want on my Computer so I indeed have two Macbook Pros one for home and one for school. :p I also have a 2010 iMac but don't use it too much anymore as I mainly just use my Home MBP and School MBP.
