Im really excited to see UFC 103! There are some pretty big names headlining this event so I know it is going to be a brawl to remember. Lets jump right into the list of fighters that will be throwing down on September 19th at the America Airlines Event Center in Dallas Texas.

FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Rich Franklin

Some would say Rich Franklin is a UFC legend. He has been fighting for quit some time. He has put to rest some of the best in the game. Some of his victims include, Wanderlei Silva, Matt Hamill, Ken Shamrock, Nate Quarry to name a few. The four losses he has taken come from elite title holders such as Anderson Silva (twice), Lyoto Machida, Dan Henderson.

Vitor Belfort

Ive been watching MMA for a long time and its been a while since I heard the name Vitor Belfort mentioned in any big named event. Vitor is a fighter from the old school UFC (no holds barred stuff). I remeber one fight he had against Wanderlei Silva back in 1998 and I was shocked to see the hand speed and strength he had as he KO'd "The Axe Murderer" Silva in about 20 secs. After that the UFC changed hands and so did Belfort, heading to Japan to fight in "Pride Fighting Championship". Ater that he kinda fell off the map. He tends to choke during big name fights. Well this is his time for redemption.

FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Mirko Filipovic

Mirko "Cro-Cop" Filipović came to stardom from "Pride Fighting Championship" and when UFC bought out Pride along came Mirko. His weapon of choice is his famous left high kick. If that kick lands...the medics will awaken you at the closest hospital. That being said everybody watches out for it. He has lost two of his four fights with the UFC so its been a bit rough for him.
FIGHTER ANALYSIS
Junior dos Santos

Junior dos Santos is a great up-&-comer from Brazil (no surprise there). He is the current Brazil Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion with a 18-0 record. He asured his spot in the UFC when he got "Knockout of the Night" against another Brazillion star in Fabricio Werdum. I watched that fight and I think I actually felt that uppercut through my TV.

I wish I could go watch this in person because its only about 3 hours from where I live but I cant (work sucks!). I will be watching it on PPV though. Im thinking this event has the makings to be a real headliner. I will be updating this thread before and after the event to share the outcome of these fighters fate.
