I think I might get the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition over the Elgato Game Capture HD. My friend has a Hauppauge, that's most likely why I will get it.

I ordered the HD PVR 2, found a good deal online for $155 w/ 2 day shipping.

I'm actually thinking about getting the ElGato, because, if you notice in the video, the HD PVR2, at about 2 minutes into the recording, lags and skips, and the El Gato, about the same time, does not.

I have the original HDPVR Gaming edition, but if i ever upgrade again it might be to a internal recording device.

That was YT's fault, The RAW file is fine apparently.

Never really thought about getting a internal PC Capture card and hooking it up to my xbox.
