Carling, I read the whole thread: well done.
The little Wiggles77 faggot and the other fanboys riding his cock clearly don't know anything. mM has, and always will, steal glitches from public videos, and then go on to recreate them and charge for people to watch them. Their little cheerleading squad thinks it's right, too, that's what made me laugh the most.
It's a shame they're not flying a few of us out to L.A.

That would be a big mistake. They should just work on fixing the glitches, and not making the community aware of them existing. Yes, people will find out, but alot less will know if is not an announcement.

There is a difference between Acknowledging an error, and publicly posting about one (including major ones) before its fixed. Considering the current Call of Duty community, and the mass amounts of people willing to exploit glitches and other exploits for their own gain (hell, this very forum encourages outright modification and hacking), it would be stupid to openly tell people of other glitches. It would only encourage them to go out and try to recreate those glitches, and use them.
Just because I'm smart enough to tell the difference between actual recognition, and a pity announcement, is no reason to get pissy.

I'll just be flat out honest with you all, i'm GODS I GUARDIAN, and Administrator from mM. I'm not going to try and lie who I am.
Someone pointed this thread out to me, and after reading through it I felt I should reply to some of your statements.
First of all, we don't steal glitches, literally nor metaphorically. I can say this in good faith based on two things:
A. You can't "own" a glitch. If there is no owner it's not considered theft.
B. We don't steal glitches. We're not in a competition, and we're certainly not in this for the money. We add them to our database, and that's it. We also have a policy; if you get something off of another website, it is to be a normal video. Only few times have we had a problem with that, and if someone comes up with factual proof stating it was somewhere else before it was on mM, the video is downgraded immediately to normal video status. If you feel we stole your glitches, come talk to a staff member with proof and we'll get the matter sorted out as quick and painless as possible.
Secondly, we don't charge $15 just because we can, we do it so we can survive, much for the same reason you guys have ad's. When the new website comes out in the coming months we're going to change a few things. Hopefully you don't consider us putting ad's for normies stealing your ideas
And lastly I just want to stress this one important fact: WE DON'T HOST GLITCHES FOR THE MONEY! Mapmonkeys, according to the webmaster, costs about $100 a month to run, and we consistently run over our bandwidth limit each month, meaning more expenses to pay for. I just said this incase any of you thought we were doing this to make a profit. We do this as a service, mostly free of charge. But like any other website there are perks you can get if you pay for it. If we had the choice, we would get rid of premium all together and not have to worry about it, but unfortunately that's not possible. Unless we can come up with other ways to raise money, premium will stay.
And if you guys had to complain to fourzerotwo to mention you guys, and he didn't just say it on his own, what does that tell you?
We didn't ask them to bring us out there, THEY approached us.

FourZeroTwo mentioning NGU will bring about 200,000 and soon it will be greatly known in youtube as people are sponsoring it, the current members of NGU is 96,332, soon in probably 2 months MW2 will be released and most people here are gonna put glitches and guides this will increase the site Popularity by 50% because FourZeroTwo mentioned this site. An estimate of half a million or so and it will keep rising from the support users from Facebook, Myspace, Bebo and Twitter!!!!!!!! This is just a rough estimate it could just be 25,000 but from the variety of NGU it will be huge, Big Time.
Most likely FourZeroTwo will be keeping an eye on NGU for glitches and bribing people that is a damn good plan!!!!!!
