I'm just curious because I'm 18, almost 19 in 2 months, and I have never smoked a cigarette. Not once and not even a single puff or drag or whatever you want to call it. I guess I'm somewhat proud of it because I don't know how many other people my age could say the same, specifically that aren't a "goody two shoes" and don't do anything. :p

The reason I don't is because I don't see a point. They don't make you high, they are addictive, I think they are gross, and they are linked directly to cancer. I also have family and know others that got cancer because of cigarettes.

I smoke cigars though, and have very recently too. I just don't smoke them often and obviously you don't inhale them, so it's different.

I talked to someone the other day that is in the same boat as me; has never smoked one cigarette, but smokes weed, cigars, etc. , and I was kind of surprised. All my friends do or have in the past.

I agree with your statement about people who claim to smoke weed and never smoked a cigarette. If they did smoke weed before, surely they were offered a cigarette and even a drag from someones. Weed and cigarettes seem to go together for me at least. Every time I smoke weed with someone new they always offer newports or marlboros.

I'm EXACTLY like you man. No joke. I smoke weed occasionally and have NEVER smoked a single cigarette. I just think theyre gross and lead to nasty life threatening effects.

So you learned to smoke with weed? Were your buddies pleased when you coughed it up/didn't inhale properly? Whenever anyone tells me this story it reeks of bullshite.

Um I don't know about you but I can't think of anyone who hasn't coughed their first time smoking weed. And if they didn't you could tell they were holding that cough in to their best of their ability. The first time I smoked a cigarette I did not cough or inhale improperly. I can also inhale the smoke of a cigar and that doesn't affect me either. But you know we can't all be golden lungs like yourself right?

A lot of my friends do smoke, but I've never touched one because my grandparents were heavy smokers and my mom is. I just don't see the point in giving yourself easy cancer.

I'm fifteen but I think I can comment. I have been offered whole packs of cigs but never tried it. I do smoke weed but thats not deadly. I think once I start cigs I won't be able to quit.

Yes, I did "learn to smoke with weed". Why would I smoke cigarettes? It just leads to life threatening issues when weed does the opposite.

im 18, i havent smoked a single cigarette, never tried weed or anything like that. I hate the smell of it. I wouldnt even do it if i was peer pressured. its just not my thing. Most of my family smokes, and i can see the issues of it in the long run. Plus, it took away my grandmother because it gave her lung cancer. My girlfriend smoked for a couple years before we started dating and i got her to quit, because i dont want to see her suffer in the pain of a slow death like everyone else.
