I thankfully got it out somehow and got my computer back up and working. I lost a few files through the way though. So, now im just wondering, just how common is it to get targeted by this virus/scam. If you have been attacked or affected by it, post below. Thanks

Same here glad I got a virus protection plan

I have norton 360 and it was able to get by undetected. I had to remove it manually. It was pretty difficult, im not gonna lie.

Yikes. How does one go about removing such a virus? Does it block Ctrl + Alt + Del? Alt + F4? Etc.

Yeah had like a month ago just unplug from internet boot up in safe mode type this in cmd REGEDITE and delete what's in the run file then run a full scan when its done boot back up normal hope that help ppl

I never get viruses, cause i never click on dumbass websites and try to download free porn and shit.

No, you have to go into safe mode.
