I don't like the tacky theme which is supposed to be up for 7 days. Other than that though, I don't really care.

EDIT: I just read some of the comments. I forgot that when you donate, your supposed to lose the ads. False advertising :/

I think that it's just fine. The header hardly bothers me at all, however to be entirely honest the logo is really ugly though. At least match the colors or something. I actually like using NGU in red instead of blue.

In the short term, the theme may be a minor annoyance, but it is trying to promote gaming-relevant content, not a new toaster that you can use in the shower whilst finding single women in your area. I agree that it can be a bit less obtrusive, I keep clicking the god damn thing by accident! But it's helping the site go places.

it looks bloody awful. first off why don't the admins even tell us this is upcoming? They don't even have to ask us if we want it (although that would be MUCH preferred). From the looks of it (yes I know gamma labs is not donating money to the site but still) it looks like NGU is just asking and asking for more and more money. I mean surely not THAT much money is needed? If you need money then just ask the users, don't be afraid to admit it. The only good thing from this for the actual users of the site is that it will go within seven days. Everything else is pretty much useless and annoying. /rant inb4 comment removed/edited.

tl;dr partnership is okay, but theme is terrible

Also admins should change the benefits of donating and remove the remove ads benefit if this carries on, This is the second time (first was xploader)

NGU gets no money from this whatsoever.

I like it, why? It's going to bring use more exclusive content, I think we should partner with another gaming related product site. Yes

I already said that, I'm trying to say that NGU looks like it's trying to get even more money. Because this isn't our first partnership

So if this isn't getting us any money, how exactly is it benefiting us.
What are we getting for advertising them.. for free.
