(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone, I'm back with more guides. I haven't been on in a while as my internet went down, and my mom forgot to pay-the-bill. I've also been on vacation, so I didn't really bother visiting the site on vacation. :p

Anyways, since I got back I've been working on a search-system, since I could never find a good one. And I ended making it pretty good, and some extra features have been added to it. It's free, and there is no copyright or powered by links. And it only took me about 3 hours of coding, which is pretty low in my opinion. Anyways, I'll continue to update this.

What is this Search-system?

This is something that, when ever you submit something into your database using the tables you need, and someone searches, your search-system will put up all the results. Just like google! And it displays everything, and it's pretty good for a first release in my opinion. This can be used for:

  • Making a search-engine *Not recommended*
  • This could be used to seach pages for your website
  • This can be used to search games
  • This can be used to search videos

You must login or register to view this content.

How to set-up search-system:

1) Go to 000webhost.com and create or use an existing account. Now go to your website/domain control panel, and click on the image that says MySQL - Then enter the information that you need to create a new MySQL database. Example:

You must login or register to view this content.

Then you should get this:

You must login or register to view this content.

Copy and save that info in your notepad file, or where-ever!

2) Now go back to the main contorl panel, and fine the button that says PhpMyAdmin. Once you found that, click it, and find the database you created and click Enter PhpMyAdmin. Once in there, click the Import button and upload the uploadsql file.

3) You are nearly done! Now go back to the Main control panel, and find the File manager link. Click it, and enter the FTP file manager. Click on public_html, and then delete the default files. Then upload all your files: Search.php and Index.php

4) Go and edit your Search.php to your database information. This is saved in the notepad I told you about. You'll need that information. Then your done!

I hope you enjoyed this, and wait for newer versions!

Tips:

Search-system can also search your forum files. You just have to edit search.php and change the results, and edit the Database information for both files. And those are uploadsql and the database information for search.php - This could even be used to search the nextgenupdate forums!
