I started watching Diego when he was on The Ultimate Fighter show. As soon as I seen him fight I was like, this kid has some serious talent! He hasnt proved me wrong yet. With him stepping down to lightweight I think he will be a true threat to ANY fighter in that class.

GSP needs no introduction! He will and has crushed any and all that steps in his way. He has become the best welterweight on the face of the planet! He will hold his title till retirement if the UFC doesn't add new fighters to his weight class. He showed true attributes of a legend at UFC 100 when he was faced with a absolute beast in Thiago Alves. He beat the snot out of that guy from the start to finish while he was injured from the first round. A full 5 rounds of absolute OWNAGE!!!

Anderson Silva is the best fighter the UFC has to offer. To me he is the #2 fighter in the world out of ALL weight classes. If he wanted to he could own at light heavyweight as well. He is undergoing surgery and will be out for some time (mid-late 2010). He has also stated recently that he will no longer pursue any more light heavyweight fights and wants to eventually retire a middleweight legend. In my opinion he IS unstoppable!

My pick here is based on what the axe murderer has done in his long career and not what he has become. Wanderlei Silva has a very special attribute that nobody can come close to, and that is a true killer instinct. His career spans all over the world and he has the scars to prove it. He is a absolute animal in the ring and what I mean is that when he senses that you are vulnerable he will finish you immediately in devastating fashion! I will always remember him as the grim reaper of "Pride Fighting Championship". On this down side of such a brutal career he has endured some serious battles that would turn your brain to jello.

My pick here is based on solely UFC fighters. I do NOT believe he is the best heavyweight fighter in the world but only the best heavyweight fighter in the UFC. I will say though that he will become a heavyweight monster in time. He has much to learn but his athleticism will keep him on top for a very long time! I will be honest in saying he should adjust his attitude. True champions don't act the way he does. He is fairly early in his career so theres plenty of time for improvement. He must overcome a large hurdle in the MMA world being he came from pro wrestling (WCW, WWF or whatever). That in it self has already put a bullseye on him for ridicule.

Good 2 see a lot of people like Diego on here. I think a lot of people don't like him because he is so weird. Like I said though, that is what makes me like him. I hope he beats BJ penns ass when they fight. I don't think it will happen but I definitely believe it is the toughest test BJ has faced at lightweight and poses lots of problems for him, YES!

I lost all respect for forest griffin after he quit and ran out of the cage crying after Anderson Silva put a whooping on his ass. I understand being upset after losing but take it like a man and don't run away for gods sakes. Which reminds me of this timeless classic of a gif
