What is it ?
The common theme in conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government—which replaces sovereign nation-states—and an all-encompassing propaganda that ideologizes its establishment as the culmination of history's progress. Significant occurrences in politics and finance are speculated to be orchestrated by an unduly influential cabal operating through many front organizations. Numerous historical and current events are seen as steps in an on-going plot to achieve world domination through secret political gatherings and decision-making processes.
Prior to the early 1990s, New World Order conspiracism was limited to two American countercultures, primarily the militantly anti-government right, and secondarily fundamentalist Christians concerned with end-time emergence of the Antichrist. Skeptics, such as Michael Barkun and Chip Berlet, have observed that right-wing populist conspiracy theories about a New World Order have now not only been embraced by many seekers of stigmatized knowledge but have seeped into popular culture, thereby inaugurating an unrivaled period of people actively preparing for apocalyptic millenarian scenarios in the United States of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. These political scientists are concerned that this mass hysteria could have what they judge to be devastating effects on American political life, ranging from widespread political alienation to escalating lone-wolf terrorism.
I still don't believe that any group of people could take over and rule the world. I can understand not trusting the Government, but ruling the world? Come on...
I have studied these theories pretty extensively and my conclusion is that a lot of the things people are scared of are derived from situations that are taken out of context or blow out of proportion. It's a lot of paranoia and hysteria.
Take for instance those videos on youtube of those loud sounds in the sky. They have a lot of people scared shitless. In reality, they're completely fake. But people don't seem to register that and continue to assume it's a global domination plot.
The real threat is what is happening to the world economy. I highly doubt there is an actual plot to rid the planet of 4.2 billion individuals so that the "global elitists" can control the population much easier. Sure there is some strange evidence that is slightly coincidental, but to base an entire fear filled theory out of it and claim it as fact is just jumping to conclusions.
I have heard extremely weird theories about this. Things like using satellites to project hologram fake alien invasions and the second coming of jesus to incite mass hysteria and/or suicides. There's even another theory about a fake asteroid impact.
I'm not saying don't buy into this stuff, make up your own mind. But I never trust anything that is presented with a sense of fear and paranoia in order to get people on board. (much like the medication thread I posted earlier)
Look at the 2012 Olympics. There was supposed to be some major false flag operation done there which would result in the "total evacuation of London as a whole". Well? Nothing ever happened. It's just hysteria.
