Even if it is friendly, you still take a risk. If they question you, just tell them it was playful and that your friends do that kind of thing. Tell them that he must have misunderstood because of the language and cultural barrier.

I doubt it. But there is always a possibility of it if your school is extremely tough on bullying. I remember one of my friends placed his chewed gum on someone's locker while he was running to class and the next morning he was called down and asked why he was bullying this person. He didn't get in trouble, really just a scolding from the VP.
