This is a sort of philosophical question that I was thinking about today. I enjoy everything about video games, I like art, and I find technology/computers interesting, but I'm also pretty smart (I have about 95% booksmarts and 5% social skills).
My question to everyone is: should people like me do what they are interested in, and possibly waste their intelligence, or use their intelligence to the full potential?
Honestly, I feel too guilty to not take advantage of my intelligence, so I think I should keep my interests as hobbies and a side sort of thing.
By the way, if I was unclear, when I say "do", I'm talking about college/career.
I do consider myself gifted with a high IQ/Intelligence. Being smart doesn't mean that you have to "work/study 24/7". Go out, explore life, have fun, play video games, do whatever the fuck you want but just don't forget to pay attention to your study/career and make sure you give it enough time.
Intelligent + doing nothing = waste as you could of helped your country/community in some sort, or at least improved your financial status.
Intelligent + working/studying 24/7 = Boring life, you are missing out a lot.
Being moderate is the best in any given topic/life issue.
