(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The title says it all, I would like to find out what games the members of NGU like best. This can be any genre, system, and period of time. I would like to know why those games are so memorable to you and what joy they brought you.

Please do not harass others about the game they find most memorable or try to start a console war. This is about gaming not systems. I would like to keep a high level of maturity and have a very civilized discussion. Please use the following form to introduce your most favorite game.

[Game?]
[Systems that you played it on?]
[Why it is your most favorite game?]

I'll start us off!

Fallout 3
PC/PS3
This game blew me away when I first played it because when I first saw the game trailers and screenshots I saw mutants and laser weapons and I didn't want anything to do with it but 1 fateful Christmas a local best buy was going out of business and games were close to 55% off. 1 of those games that I decided to get was in turn Fallout 3 on PS3. I played it and was blown away by the vast openness of the world and the creativeness of VATS. I was in gaming ecstasy and it only got better with PC. The game did have bugs but for a game so massive and so interactive, I was willing to overlook them. I still play it today and have NEVER gotten bored of the game itself let alone the 5 DLC packs, You must login or register to view this content. and the many different ways to play through the game, I CANNOT wait for Fallout 4.

What is your favorite video game? Please leave a post telling me it and why.

Problem rule #16?
I would say pokemon but I cant chose one single pokemon game. Hell the pokemon series helped massively with my English growing up. So any main Pokemon game.

For second its a tie- The World Ends With You for the DS (i think it just got ported to apple devices) This game utilises the DS to its fullest. Both screens are active, touch control feels right, day select mode after you beat it, FUCKING ORGASMIC SOUNDTRACK, story, its the perfect DS game

or if i step away from my handheld fangirling for 5 seconds...

Mirrors Edge- Xbox 360 I have never played another game like it. It is honestly what warmed me up to First Person games. I was ok with them but Mirrors Edge demanded I master it. I love the death fall as sadistic as it sounds... seeing everything speed up and then SPLAT. Also the slow motion is pretty sick. And how its not focused on gunplay. Love it.

It seems to me that the n64 to ps2 era is peoples' favorite. Dancing. I'm seeing a good abundance of handheld games which I honestly didn't expect. Nothing against them just didn't expect it :p.

Definitely Bioshock 1 & 2 on Ps3, I love the idea of that dystopian world. Most addicting story ever.
