(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The title says it all, I would like to find out what games the members of NGU like best. This can be any genre, system, and period of time. I would like to know why those games are so memorable to you and what joy they brought you.

Please do not harass others about the game they find most memorable or try to start a console war. This is about gaming not systems. I would like to keep a high level of maturity and have a very civilized discussion. Please use the following form to introduce your most favorite game.

[Game?]
[Systems that you played it on?]
[Why it is your most favorite game?]

I'll start us off!

Fallout 3
PC/PS3
This game blew me away when I first played it because when I first saw the game trailers and screenshots I saw mutants and laser weapons and I didn't want anything to do with it but 1 fateful Christmas a local best buy was going out of business and games were close to 55% off. 1 of those games that I decided to get was in turn Fallout 3 on PS3. I played it and was blown away by the vast openness of the world and the creativeness of VATS. I was in gaming ecstasy and it only got better with PC. The game did have bugs but for a game so massive and so interactive, I was willing to overlook them. I still play it today and have NEVER gotten bored of the game itself let alone the 5 DLC packs, You must login or register to view this content. and the many different ways to play through the game, I CANNOT wait for Fallout 4.

What is your favorite video game? Please leave a post telling me it and why.

Omggg I can't even decide o_o I'll name a few

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4

I could never stop playing this game, from the first time I played it i'd spend hour after hour after school just going on there, I was quite young at the time so it took me agesssss to get off the College level haha! Just everything about the game was fantastic.

Star Wars Battlefront 1/2

These 2 games blew me away. I remember spending hours on end just fighting in matches, trying to jump to crazy places, flying around on a vehicle, getting huge killstreaks, flying the ship into the enemy spaceship so my whole team would spawn there and kick ass, trying to become the jedi, camping in the turrets, man those games were amazing.

Skate 2/3

These games were absoloutely amazing. They were the best Skateboarding games since THPS4 with a fantastic amount of depth, amazing tricks, huge maps, so much stuff to do and best of all making the game your own. Doing epic tricks and lines, and basically just having a lot of fun. The games were fantastic online.

Tekken 3/Tag/4/5/Tag2

Tekken 3 was one of the first games I ever played when I was really young, I remember my Dad/Uncle/Aunts used to play it when I was like 4 and they let me and my cousin have a go. We used to spend a very long time playing it and it was absoloutely epic. Then Tekken Tag Tournament came out, it was amazing being able to make your own Tag Team with a large roster of characters and we could spend hours playing it. Afterwards, Tekken 4 came out, Tekken 5 came out and both of those games consumed much of my time XD I really didn't like Tekken 6 that much. A month ago Tekken Tag Tournament 2 came out and man this game is fantastic, a huge roster of characters with a whole bunch of modes, fantastic online gameplay, characters/stages/features still being added via updates, and the DLC is all free. Amazing. Yeah I love Tekken LOL

Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles

I'm not sure if any of you will remember playing this classic PS1 game. I used to play it with my dad and my cousin a lot, you could choose from Qui Gon Jin, Obi Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Plo Koon and Adi Galia and you basically went through all these different stages and it was awesome. I really loved this game.

Red Dead Redemption

Playing this game shocked me, everything about it is beautiful. The landscapes, the storyline, the characters, the features, the atmosphere... It was so amazingly put together and it's one of the best games I've ever played, if you haven't played this game then please do so ASAP lol. You will not regret it.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I had never really heard of The Elder Scrolls until Skyrim, I heard there was a lot of fuss over it and I wondered what it was about so I thought i'd give the game ago. It was a great choice. The Context, Gameplay, Features, Characters, Weapons, Landscapes and pretty much everything is epic. Every corner you turn there is something new to explore or learn about. There is so much diversity in character building, it is the perfect game for adventuring.

Pokemon Emerald

My first ever Pokemon game, all my friends in primary school started playing it so I decided to buy it and I just couldn't stop playing it, all the Pokemon xDDD

Sorry, I just really couldn't chose a favourite lol.

Did you ever have the Socom that came with the microphone, and you could call out commands to the other members of your team? Man that game was awesome!

By far Socom 3. I didn't really play Socom 2 so S3 is by far my favorite game.

Sadly, I have to break my own rule for a sec, my first first console was the ps1 and i never got to hardcore into gaming til the end of the ps2. I've never really played any retro games from what people call the golden years of gaming. No time now with new games , work and school. O.o

I LOVED that pokemon. Pikachu following me around was really fun. Might find that ROM and play it on my ps3 just to get reminisce.

Don't worry lol I know it's hard to choose sometimes. My toss up was Fallout 3, Bioshock and Dead Space.

I remember hearing about Socom when it was being hyped for ps2. I was too young to get it but I remember them talking about achieving Anti-Aliasing on the PS2 which apparently was big news at the time. =D

I had something kinda similar. It was and is because I have it 3 feet from me, "Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm." I spent days playing thru those missions, acting them out in different ways trying to do them all perfect.

Haven't played 1 single Final Fantasy game Gaspkay:, is it necessary to play 1-6 to get 7?
