i got an HDPVR gaming edition which came with a software to edit and record Arc Showbiz
but it sux so bad it freezes and all my work editing just disappear
im looking for a new reliable program which i can record in HD and edit easy

To record I suggest : Total Media Extreme
To Edit : Sony vegas or imovie work great

do you use them

I use vegas for editing and like Bang said it's great, for recording I use the software that came with my Roxio, I have heard people mention Total Media Extreme in that past though (all good things)

i hear its hard to learn can you give me links to tutorials and what version should i download
