When I was younger I would get ingrown toenails with a vengeance, and by this I mean they came at me with media favorite Viking horned helmets and battle axes--if the toenails could have ridden dragon boats in while singing about the glory of the Frijonjir they would have, I'm sure.

To defeat them, I'd have to pack the damn things with cotton soaked in iodine.

It hurt, they'd get infected (the Viking glory and all that), tissue would need debriding... I don't envy anyone that experience.
