What games are coming out before christmas that i could get him that you think he would enjoy?

black ops II is out of the question he is already getting that the day it comes out.

Halo 4, Assassins Creed III, Hitman Absolution, and CoD Black Ops II.

It is similar, on MW3 you paid $50 and you got all DLC along with Elite benefits. Well on BO II everyone gets all Elite benefits free and you pay $50 if you want all of the DLC.

Personally, I totally recommend buying him one of the great Assassin's Creed's. The newest one, Assassin's Creed 3 is said to be a huge success and the awards it has won are there as proof.
Another one to hit the market soon is Halo 4. If he likes shooters, I'd say he would thoroughly enjoy this one.

well elite isd free for black ops this a pass so you get all the maps for black ops so yeah very much like elite

Farcry is nothing like Skyrim or Oblivion. Try looking up Morrowind for the xbox; it's a classic and <$10.
For new releases I'd go with Assassin's Creed 3.
