I have both PS3 and XBOX, it ultimately depends on what you like. For playing multiplayer with friends, I would get XBOX with party chat. PS3 if you only have a few friends you play with most of the time.

Xbox has better exclusives like HALO, and more lol. But the XBOX Live is pretty expensive. 1 year is $60 which is cheaper. 3 months is $20. So 3 months ($20) multiplied by 4 equals $80 for 12 months. The 1 year Live is cheaper. But XBOX doesnt play BluRays. And PS3 does, which makes the graphics better for the games. So i think they are equal. I choose PS3 since you dont have to pay for online
