I torrented FL8 yesterday. I know my way around FL8 sort of I know most of the basics.
All I am asking is for someone to help me get the hang of making music. I am mainly a DnB and Dubstep kinda guy.
If you can help me Ill shoot you some +Rep and Vbux.

LOL you can't get help written in text on here you have to experiment yourself. look on youtube for tutorials, and you have to have some sort of understanding of music, or it will be too overwhelming to do, and you will most likely give up after an hour.

Look up some tutorials on youtube man. don't search the term 'fl studio 8' get rid of the 8 because 8,9 and 10 are pretty similar so it doesn't really matter.

Also I suggest two things: Download sample packs for drums, synths, etc so you can then sample them and make them into your own.

I also suggest you download some VST's (or plugins if you're unfamiliar with that term), especially massive because most tutorials will have it.


One thing I suggest for dubstep production, or any electronic genre is to use ableton live. this is because it's easier to make electronic music and also it's also easy to adjust the speed of the wubs :p
