Hello,
I know the majority of this forum are 14-19, so yeah, I'll get straight to the point.
I love Graphic Design (Photoshop, Illustrator), and I need a job or a college course for when I leave school (in May/June 2013)
I cannot find any Job Description or College Course that is for 'Graphic Design' (Using Photoshop etc) - The only result I've seen repeatedly is 'Art & Design' which involves analyzing texts on Posters and Painting :puke:.
I need help (preferably from someone who does Graphics and studied Graphics-like courses at College/University) to "point me in the right direction"... As I really don't want to end up working in McDonalds.
Thanks ^_^
I live in the UK, as Josh said, it would help.
You won't be able to find a specialist course at that level for just graphic design.
College is about blocks of units over one subject and specialised on that. When you get to degree level the first year is the same until you get into the second year do you specialised in certain areas.
One of the biggest tips I can give is try and avoid specialised courses until degree level (Not worth worrying about and more options if you do)
Couple of things to note is the units your course does, read up on the college site what units you cover. Art and design is not just about that it has other units at the core.
