(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I haven't been really active on this site for about an year and when I came back, I noticed ALOT has changed. Most of them for the better, of course; however, this obsession with rep seems to still be around. I admit I once thought rep was the shit, but after sometime I just got over it. I can see its intended use, but that isn't how people see it as at all. I would assume it's intentions are to provide users with credibility, i.e. you share something valuable, do something nice, good posts, etc.. then you should get some reputation as a thank you and also as as acknowledgment of what ever it is that one person did. If it were played along those lines, then rep would remain a good idea, but nope. People still seem to obsess in it.

I'm making this thread because of a message I received of somebody asking me for rep. Like, really? OK. Since I don't really give a fuck, I'm going to share that message with all of you so we can all publicly bring shame upon the wrongdoer.

Been gone for 4 months, come back and I see this place is a lot better now. Though I too have noticed this obsession with rep. I can care less.

Aside from that, the forum seems to be pulling itself back together. I've also taken to notice a few members who were on a few months ago before I left and during the time I left are no longer on. They were causing issues here and there and without their presence and the natural forum style change; it's gone for the better.
