Now that lol's are gone, I'll say that I like the guy, and that he DOES have talent, but he needs to protect himself. I mean, cmon bro you're limping during the game and hate a massive brace on... don't you think you aren't at the level you need to be to play? Atleast now he'll have some time to recover and prepare for next year. Thoughts?

Well first of all, this should be moved to Sports Discussion. Second off, I think that RG3 is a great NFL rookie quarterback! The rookie class of quarterbacks this year is absolutely fantastic. Griffin, Luck, Wilson, etc. are all great quarterbacks that will live their NFL legacy. Griffin reminds me so much of a young Michael Vick. He is quick on his feet, he has a rocket arm, but he is also reckless. Vick suffered several injuries throughout his career, primarily because he had the speed to be evasive but sometimes it would just.... backfire. If RG3 comes back in the 2013 season ready to maintain himself in the pocket, practice with his center, and just be more careful, he WILL be the running quarterback of the NFL! The offseason is for improvement and adjustment. Since this was his first year, his performance was a little sketchy, but next year, he will be more prepared. This is an unbiased opinion. I am not a fan, I am an analysist. Smile

Today Will Be Different
I didn't watch the game today since I was asleep (mainly because of my sleep schedule and other factors) but I liked RG3. He has talent and knows how to play the game. It sucks that he got injured and injured prior to this game.

Thought I'd add this to my reply as well... I also like RG3 because we share the same last name. :p

Hi, I don't like you
RG3 - An upgraded Michael Vick, better passer, protects the ball better, doesn't have the size to take the beating that comes with running the read option at the NFL level. Can you win games with him? Sure. Can you count on him to play all 16 games and be healthy when the real games start? No.

Not meaning to dig up an older thread, but as Philly fans, we know what it feels like to be disappointed by a quarterback. I think RG3 is a fantastic athlete but he needs to improve his ability to make plays primarily in the pocket and only use speed as an evasive maneuver or a last resort to get the first down.
