Oh how adorable!!! My biggest tip for you though is that you need to set the ground rules right away, no matter how cute a puppy is. It will get much harder to teach what things are off limits (like the couch for example) and the house rules the longer you wait. Is it a lab puppy, or golden retriever? Or something else?
