Linux distros are about the only things that are legally distributed via torrent/p2p software.

Torrents are a great thing, Company's don't lose money at all & people get free stuff so it's a win win.

tl:dr ....Torrents suck. Usenet is Boss. Binarie Groups. doing this file transfer shit since before Napster. Torrents are for NOOBS

hahahahahha usenet, that shit has been hit worse than torrent trackers, almost all the decent groups have been taken down and lets not forget that torrents are free you have to pay for usenet or hope that your ISP provides it for free. But either way it's objectively worse than torrents.

torrents is p2p=peer2peer when usenet you download from a server. you use whatever your top speed is when torrent it depends on seeds /facepalm

and everything is free on the internet if you know how to use the internet my friend. I do not pay for Usenet and using it daily. and constant DL speed of 4.1MB with no ups and downs

Yeah I understand the advantages of usenet over torrents and that eventually a torrent will die if it's not kept seeded but I still don't think it's that much better than torrents to warrant either paying for it or having to find a way to get it for free, besides it won't have anywhere near as much content as private trackers do so what's the point of signing up for a service that will have a faster speed but less content.
As for speed on torrents if you use any decent tracker or private tracker you will have enough seeds to get your top speed most of the time providing your not downloading obscure music and even then what.cd is very well seeded so...

Lastly you and I could spend all day arguing about which is better and I'd bet neither of us would ever agree with one another. So I'm happy to agree to disagree.
