(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So guys and gals, what career path are you looking to go down, or perhaps you already are working? .. I personally am looking to get a degree in either Economics or Finance/Accountancy. The career I would like to pursue is most probably becoming an investment banker, stock broker or perhaps an accountant. How about you? :P

Peace

If you want to become an investment banker/stock broker do a degree in maths or physics not economics/accountancy. It may sound strange but you have a better change of being picked up by a company if you take one of those subjects instead of economics or accountancy.

Planning on becoming a video game programmer. Hopefully I should get accepted by UC Santa Cruz, get a Bacherlorette of Science in Game Design, then figure out what else to do from there.

I'm hoping on taking a career in making money while talking as much shit as possible.

Are there any job openings in that regard?

My original career path was to do 20 years in the U.S Navy but was cut short by 15 years due to surgery on my shoulders.

The career path am on now was kinda forced upon me. I am working to be a licence Veterinarian but I don't see that really happening because I cann only read Japanese at a 5th grade level. I am currently a veterinarian assistance (nurse), I have most my courses done but need to read more kanji and hiragana.

Right now my I am debating on going back to the U.S to become better at my work but was told I need to restart everything from scratch.

I respectfully disagree. Goldman Sachs isn't going to hire a mathematician or physicist to go into a business meeting to lay out the financial foundation for a merge. A degree in business, econ, or finance will get you the internship and possibly a job in I-Banking. I-Banking firms look at where you went, what your major was, and what your GPA was.

I am a Caretaker for the mentally handicapped. It wasn't always my plan, I got my Master's in Astrophysics, but had to go home to take care of my disabled mother and sister, which then led me to taking care of others. I enjoy it, I go to bed every night knowing I make a difference for people who aren't capable of living without help.

I plan on joining the workforce after high school. My dad owns a golf course and it's always been my plan to take it over when the time comes. I'm sure I'll go back and get a business degree or a degree in plant science.
