From that you can lay a portion of the blame on both parties because the guy was a fault for going this far but at the same time the journalists are at fault for essentially providing peer pressure and pushing a guy to do something that he might never have done in the first place and they did that in the form of providing a 15 year old girl on the internet that was most likely pushing this guy to meet up or make sexual advances.

Do people see what I'm saying now?

Simply doing something like this does not prove what the guys original intentions were. Though we have to wonder seeing as this guy was in the right place at the right time to find a 15 year old girl.

Also am I the only person in the fucking world that doesn't Immediately start shouting "Shoot the dirty fucking pedo scum, castrate him" the second I see videos like this. Am I the only person able to take a step back and think about things objectively? I seriously fucking hope not otherwise I really have just lost faith in humanity.

You raise a very good point, however how can you be sure this guy doesn't do this type of thing anyway as I don't think anyone in the right mind (let alone a TEACHER) would just have some random 15 year old girl text them and be like "oh, I can get some underage sex" I think there is a degree of him desiring this type of thing anyway.

What we see though (we as in majority of society & people who see this video) is a man with intentions of having sex with an underage girl. It is black and white to most people and they do not see the depth to the story/situation,we can all agree this guy is in the wrong but I do like your point of him being *coaxed* in to it but I would still disagree and say this guy is 100% in the wrong, like your analogy of giving someone a knife, they do not have to do it and they know it is wrong. Like I mentioned before, it is all the worse as he is a teacher.

Police and people have been doing stuff like this for a long time to pool out the pedophiles (I do however think that these guys should have handed this over to the authorities rather than get a cheap 1,000 views from it.). I'd rather have a creep like that busted for trying to have sex with a fake girl instead of him actually doing it with a real child, THEN getting caught. The fact that he's a teacher makes things even worse. The man is around minors for 7 hours a day. I wouldn't want my child around someone so easily manipulable. Lesson is don't think with the head inside your draws.

They uploaded the video rather than just handing it over to authorities because when things like this go viral they're all over the news and the man gets classified as a pedophile for the rest of his life that includes restrictions from entering many places... In this case the man did not do anything illegal but would get investigated as he did have to intentions to have sex with an underage girl and would get fired with restrictions to enter schools.

That's called Entrapment here in the US.

And in 1 sentence..... the WHOLE reality of life has been stated.
No matter how or why you were caught... does not make the crime committed, any less devious.
Well said CLM!

There is no excuse for a guy this old to be sharing nude pictures, sexting, and THEN meeting the 15 year on top of that in a hotel for sex! Furthermore, that the guy is a teacher, I would never want him to be teaching my kids. I find it rather disturbing and I think what he did was clearly out of hand. I mean come on, why would you be 30+ years old with a 15 year old..at least get a decent age..how about maybe a girl that is 18+ if anything?people are seriously disturbed now days. I am going with CLM's approach on this situation, because it is plain wrong no matter what.

Wow. This type of talk is a lawyers wet dream. He had every intention of having sex with a minor. Period. Whatever happens to you next, after confirming and admitting your intentions...I don't care. Forget what can be proved/what legal loophole he can hide in, he had intentions of having sex with a minor. I don't care after that...
