Depends what you wrote in you advertisment on craigslist.

Just give it back since it's the right thing to do.

But still man thats abit harsh, having a banned PS3 was the last thing the poor guy was thinking he was going to have.

Karma is a Bitch, so i'd give it back, just so you could use your ps3 as a doorstop, or sell it on ebay for parts

But he's just being a punk about it. If you spoofed your number he shouldn't be able to track you down to an address, if anything he could go and get phone records to actually find your number. But that is a hassle that would land him a waiting period from one week to six months. And a word of advice, if and when you trade or sell anything over Craiglist, make sure to print up a bill of sale and disclaimer and make sure both parties(being you the seller, and him the buyer) sign and date it.

Doing that will allow you to reject his ability of returning or wanting to trade back the items in question. Plus if he were to take you to court, he'd lose solely on the fact that he agreed and signed the document, and obviously make sure to have two copies. One for you, and one for him.
