(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I didnt know where to post this at but if someone screams loud into your ear can it affect your hearing in the future?

Only if it a very high Decibel over a long period of time would it damage your hearing.
GD would be a better forum to ask in.

If it is done through a long period of time at a high voice, it might damage your hearing minimally.

If someone screamed loudly into your ears for 2 seconds you will be completely fine.

if you stand in front of a jet engine for 2 seconds yes but someone can't yell that loud

I doubt you'd lose any hearing, I've known a couple people who go on the flight line without any hearing protection. And surprisingly enough none of them have any hearing loss, but I'm sure they will eventually because you can only be around military aircraft starting up a couple times before it affects your hearing. Unless somehow you're one lucky individual.

But other than that, you should be fine without a doubt.

2 secs would do nothing. Shouting is not loud enough to do any damage anywho.
