Surprised no one mentioned Supernatural yet!
I'm half way through Lost at the moment, starts off a little slow but picks up at the end of the first season. So I recommend that to.

The Walking Dead is really good to be honest, throws you into it straight away.
24 is also really good and I recommend it.

Damn... I was hooked after the second episode... I'm behind a few seasons due to netflix not having it updated.
